How to become an Instructor ?
Octans Training is built by aviation professionals, for aviation professionals. If you have hands-on experience in aviation safety, security, dangerous goods, or any other regulated aviation domain, we want to hear from you. Our platform gives you the tools to transform your expertise into structured, accessible online courses — reaching students across 30+ countries without leaving your desk. Whether you are an SMS manager, a security instructor, a DG trainer, or a regulatory consultant, your knowledge has value. Apply to become an instructor and start sharing it today.
To maintain the highest standard of aviation training, all Octans Training instructors are expected to meet the following requirements. Your course content must be based on current ICAO, IATA, EASA, or applicable national regulatory standards. All materials must be original, accurate, and regularly updated to reflect regulatory changes. Instructors must hold relevant professional qualifications or demonstrable operational experience in their subject area — whether that is SMS, AVSEC, Dangerous Goods, Root Cause Analysis, Internal Safety Investigation, SRM, PART-IS, De-icing, or Live Animals handling. Courses must be submitted in English, Romanian, or Russian, and must pass our internal quality review before publication. Octans Training reserves the right to remove any content that does not meet our standards.
Getting started as an instructor on Octans Training is straightforward. Begin by submitting your instructor application and a brief outline of the course you would like to create. Our team will review your background and course concept within 3 business days. Once approved, you will receive access to our course builder, where you can upload your content, structure your modules, set quizzes and assessments, and configure your certification settings. We support a wide range of formats including video lessons, PDF documents, slide presentations, and interactive quizzes. Our team is available to guide you through every step — from your first module to your first student.
