This training course consists of two modules – Module 1 and Module 14.
Module 1 – Aviation security awareness training;
Module 14 – Aircraft security search.
Course objective
The main objective is to ensure that personnel performing aircraft security search can perform this as part of their operational duties.
Duration of the course
According to the provisions of PNICSA, the course has a minimum duration of 16 hours.
Evaluation
Trainees must pass a written examination with a minimum score of 75% before staff are allowed to take up duties.
Recurrent training
Recurrent training must be carried out once a year to ensure that the maintenance and acquisition of competences are correlated with updates in the field of aviation security.
